Glitch & Stitch

Glitch & Stitch explores the intersection of digital distortion and garment construction. Inspired by visual glitches, fragmented data, and technological imperfections, the collection transforms disruption into design. Layered silhouettes, asymmetrical details, and fragmented surface patterns reflect moments where systems break and reassemble. The result is a series of garments that celebrate unpredictability, adaptation, and beauty within imperfection.

Design developments

This development process focuses on translating the idea of digital glitches into wearable silhouettes. Through a series of draping studies, quick iterations, and silhouette explorations, different ways of expressing distortion, fragmentation, and asymmetry were tested. Layer placement, transparency, irregular hemlines, and shifted proportions were explored to mimic the visual disruptions found in corrupted digital imagery. The final designs emerged through continuous refinement, balancing experimental forms with functionality and wearability.

Print, pattern and surface explorations

This board documents the translation of digital imagery into physical textiles and garments. Glitch inspired graphics, distorted waveforms, and circuit like motifs were developed digitally before being applied through print and surface experimentation. Fabric manipulations and draping studies explored how these visual disruptions could interact with the body in three dimensions. The process bridges technology and craftsmanship, transforming virtual errors and fragmented data into tactile, wearable forms.
